Michael Nixon, L.AC.,D.O.M.,

is a licensed Florida Acupuncture Physician, with over 40 years of experience in the use of traditional and modern acupuncture techniques.

Dr. Nixon is a pioneer in the use of Low-Level Laser Acupuncture, which he began using in 1982!  He is also Nationally Certified in Laser Acupuncture by AAAOM. Michael specializes in the use of Traditional needle acupuncture, and non-invasive "no-needle" techniques.

Michael studied Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at the Oriental Medical Institute of Hawaii, and began his practice in Kailua, Hawaii.  Michael also was a faculty member of O.M.I. in Honolulu, where he taught Acupuncture and Oriental medicine, and was Director of the Student Intern Clinic.

For the past 25 years, Michael has successfully treated thousands of patients in the Tallahassee area.  What makes Michael unique, is his "hands-on" approach, and the personal attention he gives to each and every patient.

At Acu-Pain Relief Center, Michael does not treat multiple patients at the same time (as many acupuncture clinics do).  Instead, he treats one patient at a time, and gives each patient full, and undivided attention--thereby achieving maximum results with each session!  This is the primary reason that Acupuncture Pain Relief Center has a 90% success rate in the treatment of pain!
